Immunizations required for Senior year:
Students entering 12th grade are required to have a booster (second) dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4). The booster must be MCV4 vaccine- NOT the meningitis B vaccine. An up-to-date immunization record indicating the required immunization is required by the first day of attendance at school. See your school nurse for questions.

Unity Fri-Yay! Come together as a community of unity and wear green as a symbol to prevent Gun Violence and share your photos in the comments!
Gun violence is preventable when you know the signs. “Say Something” upstanders have helped Sandy Hook Promise prevent 7 school shootings and 60+ acts of violence with a weapon.

In 4 out of 5 school shootings, at least one other person had knowledge of the attacker’s plan but failed to report it. People who hurt themselves or others often show warning signs before they carry out an act of violence.

Parents Did You Know… Your Child can ride the wave of success with healthy breakfast options at school?
Established in 1989, National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates how school breakfasts can set students up for daily success. By observing this special week every year, we’re encouraging all K-12 schools to recognize the importance of a healthy start to the day with breakfast to fuel children’s academic success.

Nash County Athletic Directors and Coaches,
Please submit the attached nomination form on or before April 26, 2024.
The coach who is nominated should be a coach who exemplifies Dudley Whitley’s goals, great character and sportsmanship, as well as one who serves as a positive role model for students (bio is attached).
Please take the time out of your busy schedule to recognize a coach who makes a difference every day for our student-athletes!!! (Recommendations are accepted from parents and athletes as well). Please feel free to have the coaches share with the athletes and have the AD or principal sign off on this so the student-athletes have the option to nominate their coach.
Please return the nomination to Mrs. Keil Dawson, Principal RMHS,
